1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of QwertyKey Studio, provided by QWERTYKEY S.R.L. (“QwertyKey”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using the software, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use QwertyKey Studio.
2. What the service does
QwertyKey Studio lets you view, configure, and manage compatible devices. Optional account features may let you save, sync, and restore device profiles through the cloud. Features may differ by device, platform, firmware, region, or software version.
3. Accounts
An account is optional unless a feature clearly requires one. You may sign in with Google or an email verification code. You are responsible for access to your email or linked Google account and for activity under your QwertyKey Studio account.
You must provide accurate information and notify us at help@qwertykey.eu if you believe your account has been used without permission.
4. Device changes and backups
QwertyKey Studio can change settings stored on a compatible device. Review settings before applying them, use supported firmware, keep any backups you consider important, and follow device instructions. Disconnecting a device or interrupting an update or write operation may cause settings to be lost or require recovery.
You are responsible for the profiles and configurations you create. Cloud profiles are a convenience and should not be your only backup of important configurations.
5. Acceptable use
You may use QwertyKey Studio only lawfully and for its intended purpose. You must not:
- interfere with the service, bypass security or access controls, or access another person’s account or data;
- upload malicious code or use the service to harm a device, network, QwertyKey, or another person;
- use automated methods that place an unreasonable load on the service; or
- copy, resell, or exploit the service except where applicable law or an open-source license permits it.
6. Ownership
QwertyKey Studio, its design, software, branding, and related content are owned by QwertyKey or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. They do not transfer ownership to you.
You keep ownership of the device configurations and profile content you create. You give us permission to host and process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service.
7. Third-party services
QwertyKey Studio may rely on third-party services, including Google sign-in, email delivery, hosting, and cloud storage. Your use of a third-party service may also be subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Cloud profiles may occasionally be delayed, unavailable, or fail to sync.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent allowed by law, QwertyKey Studio is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We do not guarantee compatibility with every device, firmware version, operating system, browser, game, or third-party service.
Nothing in these Terms limits warranties or other rights that applicable consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, QwertyKey will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profiles, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using QwertyKey Studio at any time and may request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, or misuse the service. Where reasonable, we will provide notice.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, including account information and cloud profiles.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without limiting any mandatory protections you have under the laws of your country of residence. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts under applicable law.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. If a change is important, we may also provide notice in the software or by email. Continuing to use the service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
